Support and guide customer marketing based on delivering customer

Desired Skills:

Position: Financial Products Marketing

Job Summary:
The Computational Finance Product Marketing Specialist will work as a
part of a team responsible for marketing, selling, and developing
products for the Financial Services market.
The successful candidate will develop marketing plans, messages, and
content to grow The MathWorks business in the Financial Services sector
by identifying key target customers, their needs, and relevant product
capabilities.
In addition, he/she will work with Industry Marketing and development
teams to develop and implement plans for The MathWorks Computational
Finance tools based on MATLAB.
Responsibilities:
• Develop messaging and collateral in support of the Computational
Finance products, related products, and overall application area,
including seminars, web pages, videos, and demonstrations. Assess the
ROI of our messages and marketing efforts and recommend targeted and
innovative approaches for telling our story on-line and in-person.
• Optimize content and messaging to increase awareness and lead
generation of Computational Finance products through the MathWorks web
site.
• Support the sales force and application engineers with necessary
materials to sell our products to financial organizations, including
customer presentations, training, and tools.
• Work with industry marketing and the Computational Finance
development team to develop product plans for the finance area
including collecting and synthesizing customer requirements to assess
new features and products; developing multi-year roadmaps informed by
the medium- to long-term direction and opportunities; and collaborating
with product managers and development teams in adjacent product areas
to incorporate the Computational Finance area needs into their plans.
Qualifications:
• BS in engineering, mathematics or related scientific discipline
• Experience in product marketing and/or product management
• Demonstrated experiences and eagerness to work with software
development and sales teams in a highly collaborative, consensus-based
team environment
• Highly skilled and engaging presenter to internal and customer audiences.
• Experience supporting sales and/or marketing for technical software products
• Demonstrated aptitude with real-world financial modeling and analysis applications
• Knowledge of MATLAB (Financial, Statistics and Optimization toolboxes especially useful) and/or relevant alternatives
Pluses:

The Senior Strategic Business Consultant is a skilled consultant with
an ability to link their extensive knowledge of patient data and
applications with other SDI offerings into broad solutions for the
client base. The Business Consultant is responsible for working with
clients to maximize client satisfaction and perceived value of patient
deliverables and support the expansion of SDI opportunities within the
clients. The person in this role is responsible for assuring client
satisfaction with all patient deliverables.
Education and Experience
BS Degree required; Masters Degree/MBA or above highly valued.
Preferred educational focus on marketing/business, finance, statistics,
or experience in technical consulting role executing successful
engagements
8-10 years professional experience with the analysis of patient data is
required; focus on quantitative and analytical solutions and strong
technical capabilities required
Successful consulting engagement experience leading engagements for customers required
Proficiency in SAS is a requirement for this position. Preference is
given to candidates with knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
Experience with Patient data and/or Electronic Medical Records required
Knowledge of medical terminology, acute and chronic disease,
ICD-9-CM/CPT/HCPSC medical coding, pharmaceutical drug classifications
(i.e. USC, NDC) and HIPAA compliance preferred

Renewals – ensure that SDI is providing a high perception of

alternative solutions when issues arise.
Issue resolution – take ownership for successfully responding to
client issues, including appropriate elevation and communication and
driving quick responses that meet client demands, with an emphasis on
innovative and long-lasting solutions.
Training – support advancement of effective client exposure and
training on patient services to build awareness and usage of
SDI’s services within client organizations.
Sales support – support the Client Management team for pre-sales
as needed, with a focus on connecting knowledge of client needs, the
industry and SDI services to help demonstrate SDI’s advantages.
