Basic qualifications:
• BA in business-related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience with marketing research and/or analytics within pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum 3 year experience and demonstrated proficiency in SAS programming.
• MS Excel and Power Point.
• In depth knowledge of multivariate statistics (cluster analysis, regression models, experimental design, etc.)
• Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under challenging timelines.
• Minimum 1 year
experience working with pharmaceutical specialty sales data (IMS DDD,
HCOS, etc), for Vaccines, Oncology and/or immunology.
Preferred qualifications:
• MBA.
• MS or Ph D in statistics, or other quantitative decision science field.
• Experience
applying advanced statistical and database marketing skills to the
pharmaceutical, CPG, or financial services industries.
Details:
• Customer and
Business Insights (CBI) provides sales and marketing analytics and
strategic consulting for the Business Units within GSK.
• The Customer
Planning Manager will leverage available internal and secondary data
(IMS DDD and HCOS data, GSK sales data, etc.) as well as primary and
syndicated market research to provide analysis and insights on
promotion investment strategies and vaccines brand/portfolio
performance and growth opportunities.
• Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Partner with sales and marketing leadership to identify and prioritize key business issues and analytic needs
- Lead national and subnational brand and market analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Drive integration of disparate data sources to provide reasonable assessment of brand and market performance
- Develop physician and account level targeting for sales and marketing tactics
- Analyze impact of promotional programs and guide optimization of promotional resource allocation
- Integrate secondary data analysis and primary market research to identify key customer insights and growth opportunities
- Seeking innovative methods and processes for delivering all of the above
